  Hard of Hearing?

Anna is currently providing written copies of her sermon to some members of the congregation prior to the service. Anyone else who would benefit from having a written copy should let Anna or the office know.

  Automatic Bank Withdrawal

A number of parishioners who give to the Church by automatic bank withdrawal have suggested that they would like to have something they too can put in the plate when it is passed round during the offertory hymn. Many thanks to Ace McGuire, who has so generously made some small crosses that can be used for this purpose. They are in a basket in the narthex beside the guest book.

  PWRDF Relief in Pakistan

Many of you will be aware of the devastating floods which have occurred in Pakistan and the human suffering which exists as a result. Anyone who wishes to help may contribute funds to PWRDF. Please mark your envelope PWRDF - Pakistan Relief, and place it on the collection plate. You may also visit the PWRDF website and donate online or by telephone. The website is www.pwrdf.org Click on the "Make a Donation" box on the top right corner. Thank you for your caring support.

  THE CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER SERVICE

Jan Bacon will lead the service at Living Spirit United Church, which is located at 629 49th Ave SW. Geri Urch leads the services here at St Laurence. All welcome. No experience needed. We're all learning!

  Food Bank Sunday

Food Bank Sunday is the last Sunday of each month. This week place your contributions in the wicker basket located in the Narthex. For a tax deductible receipt, place a cheque or cash in an envelope marked "Fod Bank" in the collection plate. The food bank is no longer accepting egg cartons.

St Laurence is a NON SCENTS community

We are trying to be a scent-free environment to respect those with allergies who wish to attend our services. Some people get severe headaches, stomach pains, rashes, etc. when in contact with even a very small amount of scented product. Please refrain from using any aftershave, perfume or other scented products before coming to church. Thank-you for your cooperation.
